Stuart and Cathie Showalter live in the Maryland suburbs of Washington DC. Stuart grew up in the area; Cathie grew up around the other Washington (State), near Seattle.
We have worked in Burkina Faso, West Africa since 1987. Two of our three children were born there, and all of them consider it to be their home to some degree.

For a while Stuart was posting family news and this various and sundry thoughts about life on a weblog called "sigINsig" (password protected). But he hasn't kept up the posts very frequently. If you'd like to look at it from time to time, email Stuart for the password if you don't already have it.
